Haven, Box Bar Concept
The brief for the container bar was relatively simple; Design a modular pop-up bar that could be dropped into Haven Holiday parks with minimal works - ie. services connections and a basic pad foundation for it to sit on. The Design needed to be bright and fun, and stand out against the exciting and vibrant offers already on park. It needed to be identifiable against the colourful children’s play areas and activity spaces throughout their varied estate, whilst being compact, functional and easy to operate.

The Design needed to be bright and fun, and stand out against the exciting and vibrant offers already on park. It needed to be identifiable against the colourful children’s play areas and activity spaces throughout their varied estate, whilst being compact, functional and easy to operate. There was also a requirement for it to look great when closed and not in use.
In response to this we created a brand that was simple, honest and to the point - BOX BAR.
Not only does the branding fit well with the haven aesthetic, it has an adult playfulness that slots in amongst the existing pop up brands that it could sit amongst on various sites.
The functionality of the pop up bar was extremely important and as hospitality designers, we understand the critical workflows and patterns of bar design well, which enabled us to really hone the operator experience and keep the design compact, user friendly and well-spaced. in addition, due to their ease of mobility, easy installation and low cost, the units can be moved to various sites as required by the client, making them more adaptable and less wasteful than a permeant structure.
The Container was manufactured by our partner, Modular 500 who specialise in container/modular design.
